Solid Visual Intelligence representation at UiT Open Days

Our Visual Intelligence researchers had a delightful time talking about the AI study programme to high school pupils at this year's Open Day events at UiT.

Solid Visual Intelligence representation at UiT Open Days

Our researchers at Visual Intelligence and the UiT Machine Learning Group were excited to talk to high school students about the AI and applied physics study programs at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. The events were arranged throughout the months of February and March at UiT in Alta, Narvik, and Tromsø.

Associate professors Michael Kampffmeyer and Elisabeth Wetzer talked to students in Alta about the AI and applied physics study programs at UiT. Wetzer then travelled together with associate professor Kristoffer Wickstrøm to further spread the message about the study programmes to high schoolers visiting UiT in Narvik.

In Tromsø, Kampffmeyer, alongside PhD student Harald Lykke Joakimsen and AI student Erlend, spoke to the high schoolers about the AI programme. We were especially lucky to have Erlend join us and tell the high schoolers about his experiences with the study program.

We hope to see many new faces at the AI and applied physics program in Tromsø next semester!
