Associate professor Michael Kampffmeyer and centre director Robert Jenssen gave two exciting talks for students at the UiT Career Days 2024

Kampffmeyer's presentation covered artifical intelligence's (AI) relevance to various industrial domains, giving students a taste of the technology's potential to streamline different processes, establish new markets and facilitate economic growth, and contribute to increased sustainability within industry.

He also touched upon the potential risks and challenges of applying AI technologies in industry, emphasizing the importance of developing such solutions in a responsible and ethical manner.

Jenssen gave students a comprehensive overview of AI's applicability in various career paths, utilizing the user partners of the Visual Intelligence consortium as relevant examples to illustrate the technology's diverse applications in different areas.
