The scholarships cover EUGLOH rates for travel, accommodation and sustenance for successful applicants who wish to participate in the NLDL 2026 Winter School.

There are a total of 16 mobility scholarships available for EUGLOH students outside UiT The Arctic University of Norway. UiT students should apply directly via the NLDL Winter School web page. To ensure balanced participation across EUGLOH partners, no more than 4 participants from a single partner institution will be selected.

For more details about the scholarships, please visit EUGLOH's web pages. Application deadline October 3rd 2025.

About the NLDL 2026 Winter School

The NLDL 2026 Winter School offers several relevant and emerging topics within advanced deep learning—from a basic understanding of the techniques to the latest state-of-the-art developments in the field. The topics include the following:

  • "Non-Euclidean Deep Learning" by Aiden Durrant (University of Aberdeen)
  • "Large Language Models-Based Copilots and Artificial Intelligence Agents" by Mihaela van der Schaar (University of Cambridge) and Anders Boyd (Amsterdam University Medical Centers)

The NLDL 2026 Winter School will be held at UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø, Norway from January 5th - 9th 2026. The Winter School is co-hosted by Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium (NORA) as part of the NORA Research School.

Read more about and register for the NLDL 2026 Winter School on NLDL's web pages.

UPDATE: It was previously mentioned in the post that each scholarship is valued at 2 900 Euros, which is incorrect. The scholarship's value depends on the applicant's EUGLOH partner institution. We advise potential applicants to contact their local EUGLOH office for more information about the scholarship's potential value.
