The course seeks to provide the fundamental skills required in modern research software engineering, in addition to specialized skills related to running experiments on high-performance computers.
Another goal is to increase the reproducibility of our code and projects, and make it easier to reuse code and software developed for different projects and across various applications.
The special curriculum is designed to give 5 ECTS credits for attending the lectures, completing various practical exercises, and passing a home exam.
The course was taught by Radovan Bast and Erik Heggeli, and was organized by coordinators Elisabeth Wetzer and Kristoffer Wickstrøm.
