Director Robert Jenssen and postdoctoral research fellow Changkyu Choi represented Visual Intelligence at the Europe-Korea Conference on Science and Technology (EKC) 2024. EKC is an annual event for Korean and European scientists to present their latest achievements.

This year's conference was held from July 30th to August 2nd in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Choi served several roles during the conference, such as division co-chair, session chair, roundtable moderator, and as a presenter, giving ample opportunity to present research from Visual Intelligence.

Jenssen delivered a keynote on explainable AI. The keynote was followed by a roundtable discussion on the topic.

The EKC participants observed and identified the potential for further international collaboration between Norway, Korea, and beyond. Vice President Chuck Yoo from Korea University also contributed significantly to these discussions,

Jenssen and Choi thanks EKC 2024 for organizing an excellent academic and social area.
