Visual Intelligence researchers came to the UiT Open Day to inform the students about UiT's study programme, and inspire them to pursue AI-related studies and career paths.

As part of the event, PhD Fellow Solveig Thrun, Integreat PhD Fellow Youssef Wally, and AI students hosted a stand activity to showhow AI can be used to detect people and various objects—drawing on past and ongoing research projects from SFI Visual Intelligence and the UiT Machine Learning Group.

We hope to see many new faces at the AI study programme this fall. Thanks again for stepping by our stand to learn more about the UiT study life.
