The Learning on Graphs (LoG) conference is an annual research conference covering areas related to machine learning on graphs and geometry.
The participants were a mix of researchers and students from different fields where graphs play an important role: maths, physics, chemistry, engineering, and machine learning.
The conference included tutorials on topics such as integrating knowledge graphs and large language models for advancing scientific research, heterophilic graphc learning and geometric generative models. UiT researchers and guests from the University of Oslo gave short scientific talks during the conference.
- The diverse topics showed the richness of the local community in terms of graph related topics, says conference organizer Benjamin Ricaud.
Many questions pointed out the connections between these topics and fostered interesting exchanges of knowledge.
Subsurface Digital Manager and former Visual Intelligence board member Cathrine Tegnander will serve as the elected leader of Visual Intelligence's board.
The Call for Papers and Abstracts for the Northern Lights Deep Learning (NLDL) Conference 2027 is officially announced – with submission deadlines on August 7th and Mid-September 2026 respectively.
